Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup water
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the ranch seasoning, onion soup mix, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and water.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken breasts, ensuring they are well-coated.
  5. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 3-4 hours, or until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  6. After cooking, shred the chicken with two forks and stir the sauce to mix.
  7. Serve the shredded chicken with rice, mashed potatoes, or over noodles.

Notes

  • You can substitute the cream of chicken soup with cream of mushroom soup for a different flavor.
  • This dish can also be made in a slow cooker. Cook on low for 4-5 hours instead of in the oven.
