Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 chicken bouillon cube
- 28 ounces chicken broth
- 12 ounces egg noodles
Instructions
- Put the butter in a saucepan on medium heat.
- As the butter melts, it will start to foam. Keep an eye on it and occasionally swirl the pan or stir the butter.
- It's ready when the butter turns a golden brown color and gives off a nutty aroma. This process usually takes about 4-5 minutes. Be careful not to burn the butter.
- Take the pan off the heat and add in the chicken bouillon cube. Stir until it dissolves completely in the butter.
- Add the broth to the saucepan, put it back on the burner, and bring it to a boil.
- Add the egg noodles and bring to a boil for a second time.
- Cover the pot with a tight-fitting lid and turn off the heat, leaving it on the burner.
- Let it stand for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
