  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 apple peeled and roughly chopped (Granny Smith or Pink Lady preferred, medium
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream plus more for brushing on tops before baking
  • 1 egg large
  • 12 tbsp butter chilled and cut into 1/2" pieces, 1.5 sticks, unsalted
