Apple And Kale Smoothie Recipe

This apple and kale smoothie tastes refreshing. With a delicious sweetness from the coconut and honey, it’s the one drink that makes you get rehydrated at the same time and replenish your body with goodness.

Ingredients

  • 1 green apple I use granny smith.
  • A handful of kale leaves.
  • 1 cup coconut water.
  • 1 teaspoon Clear honey optional.

Instructions

  1. Wash and core the apple and cut it in chunks. 
  2. Wash and rinse the kale leaves.
  3. Place the apple chunks, kale leaves, coconut water and honey (if using) in a blender.
  4. Blitz it for a minute or two until everything is blended and smooth.

Notes

  • You can use different types of apple that you like or have. 
  • If your apple tastes rather sweet, you may want to skip the honey altogether as the coconut water is a little bit sweet too. So it’s probably best to add honey at the last minute after you check the blended smoothie first.
