This Apple Blackberry Crumble blends tart Granny Smith apples with juicy blackberries under a crunchy wholemeal flour and oat topping. The butter is rubbed into the flour, then mixed with oats and brown sugar, creating a slightly sticky texture that crisps when baked. The fruit layer is sweetened with brown sugar and cinnamon, enhancing the natural flavors. Baked until golden, this crumble has a rustic texture that complements the soft, baked fruit. It's a comforting dessert suitable for showcasing seasonal apples with fresh berries.
