Apple Cider Sangria

The ultimate fall punch for entertaining, this apple cider sangria recipe is made with spicy ginger beer, fresh apple cider and dry white wine.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle dry white wine (such as Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio)
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 24 ounces ginger beer
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 1 orange (sliced)
  • 2 apples (cored and sliced)
  • 1 cinnamon stick (optional )
  • 1 star of anise pod (optional)
  • frozen cranberries (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, stir together wine, apple cider, ginger beer and lemon juice. Add orange an apple slices, as well as a cinnamon stick and star of anise pod if using. Let sit for 2 hours or up to overnight.
  2. Serve sangria over ice and garnish with frozen cranberries if you wish.
