Apple Cinnamon Cream Cheese Danish
This easy danish recipe is made with crescent rolls and a cinnamon apple cream cheese filling for a delicious and simple breakfast treat!
Ingredients
- ½ cup cream cheese
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon divided
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp cloves ground
- 1/8 tsp allspice
- 8 oz crescent roll dough 8 count can
- 1 cup apple diced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375° F.
- In a small bowl whip together the cream cheese, brown sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and allspice.
- Roll the crescent roll dough out and press the perforations together, then slice the dough into 8 squares.
- Top each square with a spoonful of the cinnamon cream cheese mixture.
- Toss the apples with the additional teaspoon of cinnamon.
- Divide the apples between the pastries.
- Fold the corners of each square into the middle of the pastry and place on a baking sheet or stone.
- Place in the oven and bake for 12-14 minutes, or until golden brown.
