Cobbler
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 (21-ounce) can apple pie filling, or any pie filling
Crisp
- ¾ cup rolled oats
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ cup unsalted butter, cold
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Whisk the flour, sugar, and baking powder in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Set aside.
- In a 9x13-inch dish, pour the melted butter evenly over the bottom. Spread the flour mixture over the top of the melted butter.
- Layer the apple pie filling evenly over the dry ingredients.
- For the crisp topping, whisk together the oats, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
- Using a pastry blender or fork combine cold butter with crisp ingredients until it's come together in a crumb texture.
- Sprinkle the crisp topping over the top of the apples, and bake for 28-30 minutes until the edges are lightly brown.
- Remove from the oven and let the dish cool for at least 5 minutes before serving.
