Apple Dump Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cans apple pie filling , 20 oz each
  • 1 box yellow cake mix , (15.25 ounces)
  • 3/4 cup butter melted, unsalted
  • 1/2 cup pecans , chopped
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray bottom of 9x13 inch glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Spread apple pie filling in baking dish.
  3. Top with dry cake mix; gently shake pan to distribute evenly.
  4. Pour melted butter over top, tilting pan to cover as much of top with butter as possible.
  5. Sprinkle with pecans.
  6. Bake 40-45 minutes or until mostly dry on top and bubbly around edges.
  7. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
  8. Drizzle with caramel sauce.
