Apple Pie Almond Butter Smoothie
Apple pie lovers, you'll get a kick out of this fall-inspired Apple Pie Almond Butter Smoothie!
Ingredients
- 1 banana large, ripe
- 1 Granny Smith apple cored and chopped, large
- ½ cup non-dairy milk unsweetened, of choice
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 2 protein powder optional, scoops
- 1 Tbsp pure maple syrup to taste
- 2 Tbsp almond butter unsweetened
- ⅛ tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch allspice
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract optional, pure
- ice cubes handful
Instructions
- Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- If needed, add more milk to help along the blending process or for a thinner consistency.
Notes
- *I use oat milk, but any dairy or non-dairy milk will work. Use full-fat canned coconut milk for a decadent treat.
- **If you’re using a frozen banana, you can omit the ice
