It's time for homemade Apple Pie Spice! These warm flavors come together to give a flavorful hug to any sweet treat you're putting together. With so many more uses than just apple pie, you can replace just about any recipe calling for cinnamon with this aromatic blend!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup cinnamon ground
  • 2 teaspoon nutmeg ground
  • ½ teaspoon allspice ground
  • 1 teaspoon ginger ground
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom ground

  1. Mix the ingredients together in a small bowl. Transfer to a jar and store.

Notes

  • Your blend will last 3-4 years if properly stored. Transfer your homemade spice blend to an airtight container, preferably a jar with a twist-seal lid. This will help keep your blend fresh for longer. Store in a dark, cool place such as your pantry or a spice drawer.
