Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground allspice (see note 1)
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (see note 2)

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg. Store covered up to 6 months.

Notes

  • Allspice: Just have allspice berries on hand? Grind 1 tablespoon whole allspice berries to get about 1 tablespoon ground allspice.
  • Nutmeg: Whole nutmeg berries are easy to grate if you have a microplane tool or nutmeg grater. 
  • Yield: This recipe makes 7 1/2 teaspoons or 15 (1/2-teaspoon) servings.
  • Storage: Store in a dark, cool place for up to 6 months.
