Arbys Sauce Recipe
Unlock the secret to making Arby's sauce at home! Simple ingredients and a few steps deliver that signature sweet, tangy, and slightly spicy flavor perfect for dipping or drizzling.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 4 tablespoons water
- 4 drops hot sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients together in a saucepan.
- Simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Notes
- Taste and tweak your sauce as it simmers. Need more tang? A splash of more vinegar will do the trick. Craving more sweetness? Spoon in a bit more brown sugar. Needs more heat? Add another drop or two of hot sauce.
- You can double or triple the ingredients for a bigger batch. For example, if you are making copycat Arby's Beef & Cheddar sandwiches, you need to triple the recipe.
- If you don't have apple cider vinegar, white vinegar will do in a pinch.
- You can substitute the brown sugar with your favorite sugar alternative for a lower-sugar version. Just be mindful of the sweetness level and adjust to taste.
