Ingredients

  • 2 large tortillas , approximately 12 inches (30 cm) in diameter
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter , soft
  • 6 oz. grated cheese
  • 2 roasted green chili peppers , peeled, seeded, and cut into strips or dice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the convection oven to 350 F (175°C).
  2. Using a pastry brush, butter each tortilla, making sure to cover the entire surface.
  3. Place each tortilla on an ovenproof pizza stone or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Place in the oven and cook for about 6 to 7 minutes or until the tortillas are toasted
  5. Remove from the oven and sprinkle each tortilla with cheese and green pepper.
  6. Return the Arizona cheese crisps to the oven and cook them again for 2 to 3 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
  7. Enjoy hot.
