Asian Turkey Meatballs

Asian Turkey Meatballs – Made with ginger, cilantro and scallions and baked to perfection for a wonderful compliment to rice and a veggie.

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ lbs ground turkey 93-99% lean
  • ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tablespoon ginger minced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup cilantro chopped, fresh
  • 3 scallions chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce low sodium
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and gently mix with your hands until thoroughly combined.
  3. Shape meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for about 15 to 18 minutes until cooked through and browned.
  5. Drizzle the meatballs with a little soy sauce and lime juice.
  6. Serve with zucchini noodles and/or rice.
