Ingredients
- 540 grams all purpose flour
- 130 grams powdered sugar
- 120 grams walnuts coarsely ground
- 230 grams unsalted butter room temperature
- 6 grams vanilla extract
- 10 grams brandy
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C), and line 4 baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Beat the butter in a bowl until light and fluffy.
- Slowly add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, almond extract, and brandy and mix to combine.
- Add the flour in one cup at a time and mix to combine, then fold the walnuts into the butter mixture using a spatula.
- Spoon one teaspoon of cookie batter and shape into a ball, then place onto the lined baking sheet spacing them apart about 1 inch.
- Bake the cookies for 18-20 minutes or until lightly golden in color.
- Remove the kouradiedes cookies from the oven and roll them into the powdered sugar.
- Place onto cookie platter and serve.
