Ingredients

  • 1 avocado large ripe
  • 1/2 cup butter softened, unsalted
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mash the avocado until smooth. Add the softened butter, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined and creamy.
  2. Transfer the avocado butter to a serving dish or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Use as desired on toast, meats, or vegetables.
