Avocado Ice Candy
Avocado ice candy is the Filipino version of ice pops made with blended avocado and milk. It's easy to make and so fun to eat. It's the perfect hot weather treat!
Ingredients
- 2 avocado large
- lemon juice or lime juice
- 2 cups milk fresh
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14 ounces
Instructions
- Cut avocado in half, discard pit, and scoop out the flesh. Drizzle with lemon or lime juice.
- In a blender, combine avocado, fresh milk, and condensed milk. Process until smooth.
- Using a funnel, pour blended mixture into plastic bags up to ¾ full leaving about 3 inches of plastic. Twist the remaining three inches until tube is firm but not too tight and tie into a knot.
- Arrange filled plastic tubes in a single layer on a flat container and freeze for about 2 to 3 hours or until frozen.
Notes
- The recipe is sweet as it is for my liking. Taste test when blending and add sugar if desired. Please note that the sweetness of the mixture will mellow out when cold or frozen.
