Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pineapple cubed, frozen
  • 2 cups spinach packed fresh or 1 cup frozen
  • 1 avocado ripe
  • 1 banana frozen
  • 3/4 cup coconut milk light
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice fresh
  • 1/2 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • Pinch salt sea salt
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 2 vanilla protein powder optional

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the frozen pineapple, spinach, avocado, banana, coconut milk, lime juice and zest, maple syrup, sea salt, ice cubes, and protein powder, if desired. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Taste and adjust with more maple syrup if needed. If the smoothie is too thick, add a bit more coconut milk. Blend again.
