Avocado Smoothie

Cold, thick, and refreshing, this Avocado Smoothie is the perfect filling and protein-packed breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 ripe banana sliced and frozen
  • ½ cup fresh spinach
  • 1 1/2 cups milk of choice
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons honey maple syrup, or agave
  • 1 coop protein powder vanilla flavor, optional
  • Chia or hemp seeds optional for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a blender, add in all the ingredients (1 ripe avocado, 1 ripe banana, ½ cup fresh spinach, 1 1/2 cups milk of choice, 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1 scoop protein powder) and then blend on high for 1-2 minutes until it looks creamy smooth.
  2. If it’s too thick, add a bit more milk to thin the smoothie and blend again.
  3. Pour in a cup and serve.
  4. Optional: Sprinkle a bit of Chia or hemp seeds over the smoothie before serving.
