Ingredients

  • 13.8 ounces pizza dough such as Pillsbury or crescent rolls, or homemade pizza dough
  • 4 ounces spreadable cream cheese
  • ½ cup bacon bits
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese blend
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 green onions thinly sliced

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking pan with parchement paper.
  2. Combine cream cheese, bacon bits, cheese, garlic powder, and green onions.
  3. Unroll the pizza dough. Spread the bacon mixture over the dough. Starting with the longer side, roll the dough.
  4. Cut into 24 pinwheels and place on the prepared pan. Use your hands to shape the slices round if needed (they're usually a little bit flattened).
  5. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

  • Add your own favorite seasonings or additions to this recipe including jalapenos, chopped bell peppers, or roasted garlic.
  • This can be made with pizza dough or crescent dough. If using crescent dough, pinch the seams together. Homemade pizza dough works well in this recipe too.
