Ingredients

  • 2 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 3 3 slices cooked bacon crumbled (about 4 tablespoons)
  • 2 2 green onions chopped (about 2 tablespoons)
  • 1 3/4 1 3/4 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 1 tablespoon butter melted

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat oven to 475º F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly spray with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Add the flour, bacon, and green onions to a large mixing bowl. Lightly toss together to make sure the green onions and bacon are coated with flour. Slowly pour in heavy whipping cream and stir gently until just combined. Do not over mix.
  3. Pour biscuit dough onto a floured countertop or dough board. Gently pat or roll to about ½-inch thick. Cut out biscuits using about a 2-inch biscuit cutter. Place biscuits onto prepared baking sheet pan, leaving about an inch between biscuits to allow them to rise and cook fully. Place in preheated oven and bake about 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven and brush with melted butter. Return to oven and bake until lightly browned, about 1 more minute. Remove from oven and serve.
