Bacon Grilled Cheese

A classic grilled cheese is taken to the next level by adding in our favorite, bacon!

Ingredients

  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 6 slices Bacon
  • 2 ounces cheddar cheese sliced
  • 2 ounces pepper jack cheese sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a pan until crisp. Remove from pan and drain, reserving 1 tablespoon drippings in the pan.
  2. Spread mayonnaise over the outside of each slice of bread.
  3. Divide the cheese and bacon over 2 slices of bread and top with remaining bread.
  4. Preheat a small skillet over low heat.
  5. Grill sandwich until golden, about 4-5 minutes. Flip and grill the other side until golden.
