Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad Texas Style

This Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad has bacon, cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning, plus Texas shaped pasta and jalapenos to give this pasta salad a Texas flair.

Ingredients

  • 1 box 12 oz. Skinner Texas Shaped pasta
  • 1 packet Ranch Dressing & Seasoning Mix
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 8 lices cooked bacon chopped
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes halved
  • 2 cups cooked peas
  • 2-3 jalapeños sliced (add more to increase heat and fewer jalapenos to reduce heat)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain.
  2. Place cooked, drained pasta in a large bowl.
  3. In a small bowl stir together the ranch dressing and seasoning mix with mayonnaise and sour cream.
  4. Spoon the ranch dressing sour cream mixture into the bowl with the pasta. Stir to combine until all pasta is covered with the dressing.
  5. Add bacon, chopped tomatoes, cooked peas, cheese, and jalapenos to the pasta. Stir to combine.
  6. Refrigerate the pasta salad until ready to serve.
