Bacon Spaghetti Florentine is a quick and easy pasta dinner made with spaghetti, bacon, spinach, onions, garlic, and mozzarella, parmesan, and asiago cheese.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounce package spaghetti
  • 6 lices of center cut bacon
  • 1/2 onion sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 cups fresh baby spinach leaves
  • 1-1/2 cups shredded Italian cheeses Mozzarella, Parmesan, Asiago

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti, according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crisp. Drain, except for about 1 tablespoon bacon fat.
  3. Add sliced onion and cook for about 3 or 4 minutes until softened. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute.
  4. Add the spinach and stir for about 2 or 3 minutes until it is wilted.
  5. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, and toss to even distribute ingredients.
  6. Sprinkle with shredded cheese, and serve.
