Ingredients
- 1 pound Bacon
- 1 bunch asparagus , thicker stalks are better
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook the bacon strips until half-cooked in a large skillet, do not brown.
- Dry asparagus well with paper towel.
- Season the asparagus with the salt, pepper, paprika and cayenne pepper.
- Wrap the asparagus with a piece of bacon and place it onto the baking sheet with the ends of the bacon under the asparagus on the sheet.
- Bake for 16-18 minutes or until the asparagus are cooked through and bacon is crisp.
