Ingredients

  • 8 lices Bacon cut in half
  • 16 large shrimp peeled and deveined, tails left on
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • chopped green onions for garnish
  • Preferred sauce for dipping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Arrange bacon slices on a baking sheet and partially cook in the oven for about 7 minutes, until the bacon is partially rendered but still pliable.
  3. In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, pepper, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Wrap each shrimp with a half slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick. Place on a baking sheet and bake for another 8-10 minutes or until shrimp are pink and bacon is crisp.
  5. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and enjoy with preferred dipping sauce.
