Ingredients

  • 3.5 ounces bael fruit sliced
  • 50 fluid ounces water
  • 3.5 ounces natural cane sugar add to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Ice cubes optional

Instructions

  1. In a medium pot, bring water to a simmer over medium heat. Add in your bael fruit slices and let them cook for 20 minutes to release their flavors.
  2. Stir in the sugar and salt until the sugar completely dissolved. Give it a taste and add more sugar if you like it sweeter.
  3. Use a strainer to pour the bael juice into your favorite tea cup for a warm drink, or over a tall glass filled with ice for a cool refreshment. Enjoy!
