Ingredients
- 3.5 ounces bael fruit sliced
- 50 fluid ounces water
- 3.5 ounces natural cane sugar add to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Ice cubes optional
Instructions
- In a medium pot, bring water to a simmer over medium heat. Add in your bael fruit slices and let them cook for 20 minutes to release their flavors.
- Stir in the sugar and salt until the sugar completely dissolved. Give it a taste and add more sugar if you like it sweeter.
- Use a strainer to pour the bael juice into your favorite tea cup for a warm drink, or over a tall glass filled with ice for a cool refreshment. Enjoy!
