Baked Beans with Bacon

Full flavored and super easy, these Baked Beans with Bacon are so delicious that you’ll want to serve them with every meal all year long! They only take a few ingredients, but are always a hit.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Bacon
  • 1 large yellow onion finely diced
  • 4 14-ounces each cans Pork and Beans
  • 1/2 cup dark molasses
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
  2. Dice the bacon, then add to a large skillet over medium-high heat.  Cook until crisp.  Remove from the pan using a slotted spoon to a plate lined with paper towels.
  3. Add the onions to the pan with the bacon drippings and saute until translucent and soft.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the beans, molasses, brown sugar, ketchup, mustard and Worcestershire sauce.  Stir in the cooked onions and the bacon.
  5. Pour the beans into a 3-quart baking dish.  Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes, or until heated through and bubbling.
