Baked Brie Red Pepper Jelly Bites Recipe
These puff pastry Brie and red pepper jelly appetizers are perfect for entertaining and will impress your guests with their rich, buttery texture and sweet-spicy flavor combination.
Ingredients
- 2 count packages, each phyllo dough or phyllo shells
- 2 tablespoons butter melted
- 8 ounce Brie cheese
- 1/2 cup red pepper jelly
- thyme fresh, or rosemary sprigs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F. Spray a cupcake pan with cooking spray.
- Prepare the Phyllo Shells: Unroll the phyllo pastry and separate half of the sheets. Cut the pastry sheets into small circles, approximately 3 inches wide. You can use a cookie cutter or scissors.
- Assemble the Appetizers: Place the pastry circles in the muffin tins and pressdown to form small cups. Brush with melted butter.
- Place a cube of Brie cheese in the center of each puff pastry cup.
- Top each Brie cube with a small dollop (about 1/2 teaspoon) of red pepper jelly.
- Bake the Appetizers: Bake in the preheated oven for 8-12 minutes, or until the phyllo is browned and the cheese is melted.
- Garnish and Serve: Allow the appetizers to cool slightly before garnishing with fresh thyme, rosemary, or crushed nuts if desired.
