  • 1 pound Bacon thick-cut
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking tray with aluminum foil.
  2. Place a metal cooling rack in the baking tray, over the layer of foil.
  3. Carefully place the bacon slices in a single layer on the cooling rack, perpendicular to the rack's wires to prevent bacon from slipping through.
  4. Sprinkle brown sugar in an even layer over the bacon slices.
  5. Sprinkle cayenne pepper in an even layer over the bacon slices.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes on the middle rack of the oven, or until the bacon is golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't burn.
