Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. (900g) chicken legs chicken drumsticks
  • 2-1/4 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon bottled lemon pepper seasoning
  • 3 dashes cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon Hickory Liquid Smoke
  • 1 pinch salt
  • parsley leaves chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (207°C). In a large bowl, combine the chicken legs, honey, lemon pepper seasoning, cayenne pepper, liquid smoke, and salt. Stir to mix well.
  2. Arrange the chicken legs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spoon the marinade over the chicken legs.
  3. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes, then turn the chicken legs over and bake for another 15-20 minutes until just cooked through. Broil for 1 minute or until the skin is golden brown and crispy.
  4. Garnish the baked chicken legs with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
