Ingredients
- 3 - 4 lbs chicken legs / drumsticks pat dry with paper towels
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice from 1 large lemon
- 2 teaspoons salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 Tablespoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Place the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning in a large bowl. Whisk to combine.
- Place the chicken drumsticks in the bowl and coat them in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for about 30 minutes or longer.
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange the drumsticks in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 40 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
- Sprinkle with parsley and serve warm.

- Marinade the chicken for at least 30 minutes and up to 4 hours.
- Bake the chicken legs in a single layer so that they cook evenly.
- The chicken is fully cooked when it reaches and internal temperature of 165F.
