Baked Chicken Parmesan Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds chicken breast thinly cut in half
  • 1 1/2 cups seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon oregano dried
  • 1 can tomatoes chopped tomatoes
  • 1 can basil chopped tomatoes
  • parsley to taste, fresh

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 420 degrees F. Combine the parmesan cheese with seasoned breadcrumbs.
  2. Melt the butter, and using a brush, coat the chicken breasts on both sides.
  3. Dip the chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture and place it on a flat plate.
  4. Line a tray with baking paper and place the chicken breasts. Spray oil on top and bake for 20 minutes.
  5. Without draining them, mix the tomatoes with oregano. Remove the tray from the oven and add the tomato mixture on top of the meat pieces.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Put the tray back in the oven and bake for 5 minutes until the mozzarella melts.
  7. Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top and serve with your favorite side dish. Enjoy!
