Baked Chicken Wings Recipe

Everyone’s favorite finger food is easy to make at home. Instead of cooking chicken wings on the stove, why not bake them in the oven instead? You’ll save time on clean-up, and because you don’t have to linger at the stove, you can prepare other dishes at the same time.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings 10-15 wings
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
Serving - optional
  • Dipping sauce BBQ, ranch, blue cheese etc.
  • carrot sticks and celery sticks

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (218°C) and set the oven rack in the upper middle position.
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment and place an oven-safe wire rack on top. Set aside.
  3. Place chicken wings on a work surface and pat dry with a double layer of paper towels.
  4. In a large bowl, mix garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper and baking powder.
  5. Toss the dried chicken wings in the seasoning mix and place on wire rack.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes until crispy, flipping the wings halfway through.
  7. Serve with optional carrot and celery sticks and your favorite dipping sauce.
