Ingredients
- 1½ pounds diced fontina cheese with rind removed
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 cloves thinly sliced garlic
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped thyme
- 2 teaspoons fresh chopped rosemary
- salt and fresh cracked black pepper to taste
- 1 sliced French Baguette
Instructions
- Turn the oven broiler on high and adjust oven rack to the top position, about 5 inches from the heat.
- Place 1½ pounds diced fontina cheese with rind removed in the bottom of a 12 inch cast-iron pan. Drizzle 3 tablespoons olive oil on top of the cheese.
- In a small bowl combine 6 cloves thinly sliced garlic, 1 tablespoon fresh chopped thyme, and 2 teaspoons fresh chopped rosemary. Sprinkle the mixture over the cheese and olive oil and season with salt and fresh cracked black pepper.
- Broil for 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly.
- Serve immediately with 1 sliced French Baguette.
