Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh green beans ends trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/3 cup sliced almonds
- 3-4 cloves garlic minced
- Zest of 1 lemon
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Place the green beans on a large rimmed baking sheet.
- Drizzle the oil over the green beans. Then sprinkle the top with almonds, minced garlic, lemon zest, ½ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon black pepper. Toss to coat.
- Spread the green beans out in a single layer. Roast in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until soft but still slightly firm. Serve warm.
