Ingredients

  • 2 large green plantains
  • 1½ tablespoons vegetable oil
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350℉.
  2. Peel the plantains by making lengthwise incisions and removing the skin.
  3. Using a mandoline slicer, thinly slice the plantains.
  4. Toss the plantain slices with vegetable oil in a bowl until evenly coated.
  5. Place the seasoned plantain slices in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy. Sprinkle salt over the hot plantains and serve.
