Ingredients

  • 2 cups long-grain white rice
  • 2 tablespoons butter unsalted
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 4 cups water boiling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a 2-quart or larger baking dish, combine the rice, butter, and salt.
  3. Carefully pour in the boiling water and stir until the butter is completely melted.
  4. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the water is absorbed and the rice is tender.
  5. Remove from the oven and let it stand for 5 minutes, covered. Then, fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
