Baked Shrimp Scampi with Bread Crumbs

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds large raw shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 6 cloves garlic finely minced
  • ¼ cup white wine
  • 4 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 3 tablespoons dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon salt or to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper or to taste

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shrimp, garlic, and wine. Mix together to coat.
  3. Pour into a 9x13 baking dish in an even layer.
  4. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together melted butter, panko bread crumbs, and parsley. A fork or your fingers work best. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the top of the shrimp.
  6. Bake in oven for 14-17 minutes.
