Balsamic Roasted Beets Recipe

Oven roasted beets flavored with balsamic vinegar and served as a healthy side dish.

Ingredients

  • 9 oz beet fresh
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ Teaspoon salt
  • pinch Black Pepper Ground
  • 1 Tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400° Fahrenheit/ 200° Celsius.
  2. Cut off the end from your beets and peel them.
  3. Cut beetroots into same-sized chunks. You can quarter them if they are small-sized.
  4. Place beets into a mixing bowl and season with salt and black pepper. Spread olive oil over the beets and mix.
  5. Spread beets in a baking dish.
  6. Roast beets in the oven. Turn the root pieces in between to make sure that they are roasting on all sides. Roast until cooked through.
  7. Take out the beets from your oven and pour the balsamic vinegar over them. Mix it up so that the hot beets are coated with the balsamic vinegar.
