Banana Berry Kale Smoothie
This Kale Banana Berry Smoothie makes a delicious not-so-green smoothie to jump start your day in a healthy way.
Ingredients
- 1 banana ripe
- 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 2 cup kale or other leafy green, chopped
- 1 cup yogurt plain, low fat
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 2 inches ginger thinly sliced, fresh
- 2 ice
Instructions
- Place everything but the ice in a blender and puree until smooth.
- Add ice and blend again for 1 minute or until smooth.
Notes
- Excellent source of Vitamin A and C, good source of Calcium.
