Ingredients

  • 5-6 banana sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups water cold
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 white chocolate vanilla bean pudding Godiva instant, box
  • 3 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 packages chessman cookies about 48 cookies

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. In a large bowl, add the water and sweetened condensed milk. Whisk until combined.
  2. Add in the packet of pudding and continue to whisk until incorporated.
  3. Place in the fridge for 4 hours.
  4. Whip the cream with a hand mixer on medium until stiff peaks form.
  5. Fold the whipped cream into the chilled pudding mixture until no streaks remain.
  6. In a trifle bowl or casserole dish, layer pudding, cookies, and then bananas. Repeat pattern.
  7. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 12 hours or overnight.

Notes

  • Vanilla pudding can be used in place of the Godiva pudding.
  • Nilla wafers can be used in place of chessman cookies. Nilla wafers will soften faster than Chessman cookies lessening the time it needs to spend in the fridge.
  • To keep the bananas from fully browning coat them in the pudding mixture. I also like to sprinkle the bananas with fruit fresh to keep them from browning.
  • If making individual servings to put on display, create the layers directly into the serving dishes and then refrigerate.
