Ingredients

Banana Pudding Cake:
  • 3.4 ounces banana pudding mix instant
  • 2 cups milk whole
  • 1 egg large
  • 15.25 ounces banana cake mix , or yellow cake mix
Layer:
  • 3 cups banana sliced
White Frosting:
  • 3/4 cups butter unsalted
  • 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
To Finish:
  • 1 box nilla wafers

Instructions

Banana Pudding Mix:
    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9x13-inch baking pan with baking spray.
  2. Add pudding and milk together in a large bowl and whisk well until fully combined.
  3. Let sit 5 minutes, then whisk in the egg.
  4. Add in cake mix.
  5. Spread evenly in baking pan.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool completely, then top with banana slices.
White Frosting:
  1. Add the butter to your stand mixer and beat on high speed for 3 minutes.
  2. Add in the powdered sugar and milk, alternating them 1/3 at a time, and finally add the vanilla extract.
  3. If the frosting is too thick, add a bit more milk.
To Finish:
  1. Spread evenly over the cake and top with Nilla Wafers.
