Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon rum extract
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 bananas sliced in half and cut into bite sized chunks
- 1/4 cup walnuts chopped
- vanilla ice cream for serving
Instructions
- In a medium skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the brown sugar, rum extract, water, vanilla, and cinnamon, and mix to combine. Bring the mixture to a low simmer, then stir in the bananas and walnuts. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the bananas are warmed through.
