Ingredients
- 1 cauliflower cut into florets
- 100 g plain flour
- 100 ml water
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Bang Bang Sauce:
- 4 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp Sweet Chilli sauce
- 1 tbsp Sriracha sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 lime juiced
Garnish:
- Coriander Cilantro, chopped
- spring onions sliced
- sesame seeds for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (200°C fan).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the plain flour, water, baking powder, salt, and ground black pepper until you have a smooth batter.
- Toss the cauliflower florets in the batter, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Place the coated cauliflower on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with vegetable oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cauliflower is golden and crispy.
- Meanwhile, prepare the sauce by mixing together the mayonnaise, sweet chilli sauce, sriracha sauce, honey, and lime juice in a bowl.
- Once the cauliflower is cooked, remove it from the oven and transfer to a serving dish.
- Drizzle the bang bang sauce over the cauliflower.
- Garnish with chopped fresh coriander (cilantro), sliced spring onions, and sesame seeds.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
