Ingredients

  • 1 cauliflower cut into florets
  • 100 g plain flour
  • 100 ml water
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Bang Bang Sauce:
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Sweet Chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 lime juiced
Garnish:
  • Coriander Cilantro, chopped
  • spring onions sliced
  • sesame seeds for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (200°C fan).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the plain flour, water, baking powder, salt, and ground black pepper until you have a smooth batter.
  3. Toss the cauliflower florets in the batter, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  4. Place the coated cauliflower on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with vegetable oil.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cauliflower is golden and crispy.
  6. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce by mixing together the mayonnaise, sweet chilli sauce, sriracha sauce, honey, and lime juice in a bowl.
  7. Once the cauliflower is cooked, remove it from the oven and transfer to a serving dish.
  8. Drizzle the bang bang sauce over the cauliflower.
  9. Garnish with chopped fresh coriander (cilantro), sliced spring onions, and sesame seeds.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy!
