Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon rice wine vinegar
chicken marinade
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 pound chicken thighs cut into 1-inch cubes, boneless, skinless

  1. In a mixing bowl combine all sauce ingredients and whisk together. Set aside.

  2. Pour marinade ingredients over chicken and stir together until fully coated. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

  1. About 30 minutes before cooking, soak skewers in water.
  2. Pierce 6 to 8 pieces of chicken through each skewer.
  3. Lightly spray air fryer basket with cooking spray and top with skewers, leaving about 1/2-inch space between each one (cook in batches to avoid overcrowding).
  4. Brush each skewer with bang bang sauce.
  5. Air-fry chicken skewers at 400˚F for 8 minutes.
  6. Flip each skewer and brush with more sauce. Continue to air-fry for an additional 5 minutes or until chicken has just cooked through.
  7. Remove skewers from air fryer.
  8. Transfer skewers to a serving dish, drizzle with bang bang sauce and top with green onion. Serve.
