Ingredients
- 8 oz angel hair pasta
- 1 lb medium shrimp peeled and deveined
- 1 tsp salt adjust to preference
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1/2 cup mayonaisse
- 1/2 cup Sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the mayo, sweet chili sauce, lime juice, and red pepper flakes until smooth.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta al dente according to package instructions.
- Meanwhile, toss together the shrimp, salt, and paprika in a separate bowl until evenly coated. Set aside.
- Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Cook just until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and sauté for 6-8 minutes, or until the shrimp is opaque and cooked through.
- Add the drained pasta and sauce mixture to the skillet. Toss everything together until well incorporated. Top the pasta with your favorite herbs (like cilantro) and serve warm!
