Ingredients

  • 8 oz angel hair pasta
  • 1 lb medium shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 tsp salt adjust to preference
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 cup mayonaisse
  • 1/2 cup Sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the mayo, sweet chili sauce, lime juice, and red pepper flakes until smooth.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta al dente according to package instructions.
  3. Meanwhile, toss together the shrimp, salt, and paprika in a separate bowl until evenly coated. Set aside.
  4. Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Cook just until fragrant.
  5. Add the shrimp and sauté for 6-8 minutes, or until the shrimp is opaque and cooked through.
  6. Add the drained pasta and sauce mixture to the skillet. Toss everything together until well incorporated. Top the pasta with your favorite herbs (like cilantro) and serve warm!
