Ingredients
- 3 thin pork chops bone-in
- 1 cup of fresh basil leaves
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Sea Salt and Freshly Cracked Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Make the marinade by blending the basil, garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil with an immersion blender or blender until smooth.
- Place the pork chops into a baking dish, then smother with marinade, then toss to coat evenly. Place into the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes.
- Remove the pork 15 minutes before grilling. Season both sides of the pork with sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste.
- Heat a grill pan coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat. Once the pan is hot, add the pork and cook for 5-6 minutes, then flip and cook for 3-4 minutes or until the pork is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees with a meat thermometer.
- Remove from the grill pan and let sit for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy.
