Ingredients

  • 2 cups basil, tightly packed
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place 2 cups basil, 1 shallot, 2 cloves garlic, ½ cup olive oil, and 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar,salt and pepper into a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Taste and add salt and pepper as needed.
